The captivating world of opera is set to enchant audiences once more with the upcoming concert, La Passione. Following its successful debut in Hanoi in March, La Passione is now poised to grace the cultural hub of Ho Chi Minh City in June, before embarking on its journey to the birthplace of opera, Italy, in July.
This concert promises to be a remarkable affair with the presence of Professor Gianni Kriscak, a distinguished scholar and musician. Professor Krisc, an esteemed author of the research book, “History of Italian Opera,” will lend his expertise and passion to the event. Accompanying him are Vietnamese singers, Hien Nguyen, and Quoc Dat, who will undoubtedly captivate the audience with their captivating performances.
Professor Kriscak’s musical journey began at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste, Italy, where he studied violin and piano. His passion for music then led him to further his studies in piano and conducting in Hamburg and Lübeck. In 1999, he attained the title of Professor and began teaching at the University and the Japan Opera Association. Today, he continues to impart his knowledge as a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.
