Taking place from May 13 to15, the festival has attracted around 30,000-50,000 visitors who come for onsite experiences. Vu Ngoc Anh, from Hoan Kiem said that Hanoi Tourism Festival 2022 is a good opportunity for her to get more information about upcoming summer tours.
“I have booked a tour for the whole family this summer at a travel agency. “The festival is attracting domestic and international tourists to Hanoi, encouraging Hanoians to travel around the capital city and to other provinces and cities across the country, thereby enhancing the recovery of the tourism industry,” he stated
Director of the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion (HPA) Nguyen Anh Duong shared that, the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2022 being held during SEA Games 31 would create opportunities for businesses and craft villages to advertise tourism products and services.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, the festival was an important event, as a confirmation that Hanoi had returned to the new normal in terms of tourism activities in particular and all aspects of life in general.
“Tourism is increasingly regarded as one of the significant economic sectors, which plays a positive role in the overall development of the economy.
