La (VNA) – The 2nd International
Air Balloon Festival
kicked off in Moc Chau district of the northwestern mountainous province of Son
La on February 14.
The festival aims to introduce and promote a new and modern tourism product,
thus enhancing the tourism attraction of the National Moc Chau Tourism Area to
both domestic and international friends.
The image of colorful balloons flying in the sky of Moc Chau plateau creates beautiful
scenery. It is hoped to bring extremely interesting experiences for visitors to
the event, which is organised on the Valentine Day.
The festival brings the message of love and happiness for everyone. Through
this event, local authorities hope to promote tourism and attract more and more
domestic and foreign holiday-makers to Moc Chau.
An air balloon and music performance programme with
the participation of balloon experts from Japan, Thailand and Vietnam will be
arranged in the same day’s evening.
The festival will close on February 16.
The first international air balloon festival was
also held in Moc Chau two years ago.-VNA
