The exhibition is a commemorative event honoring the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975), the 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, and the upcoming elections for the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure, scheduled on May 23.

Featuring over 200 photographs, documents, and artifacts, the exhibition showcases the significant role played by the late leader in the preparation and organization of the first general elections, as well as subsequent ones.

Maj. Gen. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Chief of the Staff of Military Region 9, highlighted the importance of the first National Assembly, which was laid by President Ho Chi Minh, in establishing a tradition of solidarity and dedication to serving the people and the country. This tradition has been vital for the exceptional performance of the legislature in the 14th term and is expected to continue in future tenures, contributing to the development of a prosperous and happy Vietnam.

Additionally, the event aims to increase public awareness of the importance of selecting individuals who are moral, capable, and respected to represent the aspirations and rights of the people in the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils.

The exhibition will run throughout May, providing an opportunity for the community to engage and reflect on the significance of these historic events.
