The Olympic Run Day, an annual event held at the end of March, is more than just a running competition. It is a public health initiative with a unique purpose: to encourage residents to embrace a healthier lifestyle through physical exercise, thereby enhancing their overall well-being.

This event is a key feature of the city’s broader commitment to promoting sports and physical activities, with March being celebrated as ‘Sports Month.’ It holds special significance as it commemorates the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day and the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
