Danang – The Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 promises to be a spectacular event with a record number of participating teams, as announced by the organizing committee on February 19.
Titled “Danang – The New Rising Era,” the festival, taking place from May 31 to July 12, will showcase the talents of top fireworks teams from leading pyrotechnic hubs worldwide. This will be the most intense competition yet, marking a turning point for Danang as it celebrates its 50th liberation anniversary.
The festival symbolizes the city’s aspirations and determination for a new era of prosperity. It reflects Danang’s vision for growth and its commitment to becoming a prominent global tourism destination.
DIFF 2025 will be the longest and largest fireworks festival to date, with six nights of breathtaking displays. Ten teams from Vietnam, Finland, the UK, Portugal, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Canada, and China will participate. Vietnam will be represented by two teams: Danang Fireworks Team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech from the Ministry of National Defence, a newcomer with nearly 30 years of fireworks manufacturing and export experience.
The competition will kick off with a dazzling show by the reigning champion, Finland’s Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB, followed by an emotional and synchronized performance by Poland’s Firma Rodzinna – Surex. The remaining six teams are also preparing unique and captivating displays, ensuring a world-class entertainment experience that blends art, music, sports, and technology.
Over the years, the Danang International Fireworks Festival has become an iconic event for the city, earning it the title of “City of Fireworks.” It has helped put Danang on the international map, attracting global tourists and enhancing its reputation as a must-visit destination.
