Wild peach blossoms herald the arrival of Spring in Mu Cang Chai

Every year in January, the mountains of Mu Cang Chai District, in the northern mountain province of Yen Bai, are transformed into a vibrant pink hue by the blossoming of wild peach trees. The wild peach trees grow naturally in a number of communes including La Pan Tan, Lao Chai, Nam Khat, and Pung Luong, all located in Mu Cang Chai District. These blossoms attract thousands of visitors during the spring season.
