Photographer Pham Huy Trung, from Ho Chi Minh city, owner of this photo series told VNE that taking landscapes photos of Vietnam both helps him satisfy his passion for photography and promote Vietnam’s tourism and culture to Vietnamese and international friends, in the meantime, encourage Vietnamese people to go travel.

The picturesque “flooding” season in Muong Hum, Bat Xat, Lao Cai. When the first summer rains naturally water the field, local farmers start to flood their field and transplanting rice seedlings for the coming crop.

Visiting Bat Xa during May-June, travelers can easily catch sight of groups of farmers doing the farming on the fields and can hear their chit-chat about daily life and agricultural stories once coming close to the fields.

A woman tending her flowers filed in Tay Tuu flowers village, which is some 20km to the west of Hanoi. In 2017, Tay Tuu flower village was recognized and honored as a traditional trade village in Hanoi. The flower village covers an area of 200 ha, and is one of the main flowers suppliers for the city and surrounding places.

The fishermen here are mostly sampan people, who consider boats are their home and live afloat on the water.

Ca Cai Bau Mangrove Forest, located in Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, about 40 km northeast of Quang Ngai City. The photo is taken in late autumn when the area turns ghostly white as the Lumnitzera racemosa Willd (commonly known as white-flowered black mangrove) lose all their leaves, leaving only whitish trunks and branches exposed.

The small trees are planted into the protection forests to prevent waves and improve the ecological environment.

Eleocharis dulcis in the countryside of Ca Mau. The plant grows well in rainy season and is used as a kind of vegetable. Eleocharis dulcis is mainly found in An Giang, Dong Thap, Long An, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, and Ca Mau provinces.

Tourists to the West land of Vietnam can experience local life firsthand by mingling with local people, fishing on the fields, picking spinach,Eleocharis dulcis and other vegetables.
