A concert dedicated to the friendship of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Vietnam was held on June 13 in Hanoi at the Grand Concert Hall.

It was organized by the Vietnamese National Academy of Music with the participation of Kazakhstani artists with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Vietnam.

This great cultural event was decorated with the performance of the People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, the holder of the title “Artist of Miar”, Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts Aiman Mussakhajayeva, as well as the folklore ensemble “Syrly Saz.” The Hanoi Chamber Orchestra and artists of the Vietnamese Academy of Music performed on the part of the hosts.

The world-famous artist Aiman Mussakhajayeva won the hearts of the audience with a virtuoso performance of violin parts of classical music, together with Vietnamese violinist Bui Cong Duy performed the work of Antonio Vivaldi “The Seasons”.

The concert aroused keen interest in Kazakhstan, its art and culture. The audience enthusiastically welcomed the talented performance of Kazakh national music.

The event was attended by figures of culture and arts, representatives of state bodies and the diplomatic corps, as well as citizens of Kazakhstan living in Vietnam.

Before the start of the musical action, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Kazakh National University of Arts and the Vietnamese National Academy of Music.

Nguyen Phuong Hoa, head of the Department of International Cooperation under Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, assessed the important significance of cultural exchange in cooperation between Vietnam and Kazakhstan. Accordingly, in 2015, the two ministries signed an agreement on cultural cooperation. Since then, cultural and art exchange cooperation between the two countries has been continuously enhanced and deployed in many fields, including music and academic exchanges.

Noting the cooperation results between the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Kazakhstan National University of Arts over the past time, Hoa said that the two sides have organized many exchange programs of lecturers and programs. cultural and artistic exchange.

More specifically, recently, together with the Kazakh National University of Arts awarded the title of Honorary Professor to violinist, Deputy Director of Vietnam National Academy of Music Bui Cong Duy.

The friendship concert jointly organized by the two sides continues to become vivid examples of Vietnam-Kazakhstan’s cooperation and cultural and artistic exchange. Hoa said that the Vietnam-Kazakhstan Friendship Concert shows the cohesion between the two peoples on the basis of traditional friendship and harmony of soul.

The signing of the MoU between the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Kazakh National University of Arts creates a foundation for further development of cooperation between the two leading music training institutions of the two countries.

According to the MoU, the two faculties will give priority to cooperation in exchange of students and lecturers, organization of joint research activities, and other short-term trainings, seminars, forums, cultural events, performances, art festivals.
