Among the multiple Instagrammable spots along Bach Dang Street, the two small, seemingly uninspiring rectangular windows have recently garnered a lot of attention from local and tourists alike, especially youngsters.

The spot used to be the back of a coffee house in Nguyen Thai Hoc street. Adorned with bunches of brilliant pink confetti and the yellow walls that bring an old, simple vibe, the windows make a nice background for selfies. One can easily catch sight of groups of young smiley people posing for a photo.

The windows overlook the dreamy Hoai River, meaning visitors can have a nice view to admire the peacefully refreshing atmosphere of Hoi An. Skirting Hoai river is the pedestrian street, where only pedestrians, cyclos, and cyclers are allowed to mile about from 6 pm – 11 am.

The café offers a nice peek into Hoi An life along the river banks. Early morning and late afternoon are the two most ideal times to take photos. Hoai river also offers a brilliant sunset view.

In the evening, it’s best to gather some friends, sip a beer or take your soul with the boats that are riding along Hoai River under the lit street lanterns.

Coffee and tea are the main servings of the café. Prices might be a little exorbitant, but the drinks are surefire amazement to your taste buds.

One drink is normally priced at between VND65,000 and VND95,000 ($2.8-4). There are also cakes and ice-cream on offer.

Many visitors stop at the café after a walk in the town, taking all kinds of photos. The windows are always open as there are no shutters.
