The ship now docks at Gate 3 of Bach Dang Wharf, which is located at the end of Nguyen Hue Boulevard. This area is well known for diverse cuisine and entertainment services at night.
Launched in 1992, Saigon Ship Restaurant has helped diversify tourism services along the Saigon River.
The ship has three floors and can seat 600 guests at a time. It operates from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the weekend, taking guests from Bach Dang Wharf to Ben Nghe Wharf along the Saigon River.
Guests on board will enjoy tasty dishes prepared by chefs from Binh Quoi Tourism Village and live music.
Asian food is served on the first and second floors, with exciting music and dance performances, while those who love Western cuisine can enjoy Western dishes on the third floor.
Drinks and snacks of the Dung Dinh brand are also available at the restaurant.
The restaurant’s staff in sailor outfits will welcome guests onboard and bid farewell to guests.
“Enjoying tasty dishes on a floating restaurant is a very interesting and relaxing experience. Today I go with my friend. Next time I will be back with my entire family,” said Dang Van So, a guest from District 12.
Saigon Ship Restaurant’s a la carte menu offers a variety of dishes priced from VND60,000. Signature dishes include Russian-style grilled ribs, steamed grouper with ginger and scallion, salad, squid served with coconut juice, hotpot, and fried spring rolls.
Binh Quoi Tourism Village has worked with Saigontourist Travel to offer river tours taking guests to attractions such as Ben Dinh, Ben Duoc, Can Gio and Vam Sat.
