The video clip, filmed in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, shows Quang Dang performing alongside his student Minh Quan as the pair call on all people to give up smoking.

The main song has been composed by Hien Minh with the track sending a message of the necessity of living a healthy life and avoiding things that can cause harm to both individuals and the wider community.

Most notably, Quang Dang is the only Vietnamese representative to take part in the WHO’s World No Tobacco Day 2020 global campaign.

It has been a busy few months for popular dancer Quang Dang who choreographed moves in February to accompany the “Ghen Co Vy Challenge” on TikTok, a vital  message that was widely shared regarding the importance of hand washing to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

His dancing clip served to have a great impact on the community, particularly the young, and ultimately helped to promote Vietnam as one of the best countries in the world in terms of taking on the virus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has joined with global partners to mark World No Tobacco Day on May 31. The annual campaign represents an opportunity to raise awareness regarding the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and exposure to second-hand smoke, with the aim of discouraging the use of tobacco in any form.
