A patient in the northern province of Ninh Binh has tested positive for COVID-19. He received treatment at the provincial General Hospital from March 7. During his treatment, he underwent five tests, with the first two being positive and the rest negative. The patient, a male student returning from Daegu, Republic of Korea, a heavily affected area, was sent to a quarantine facility on March 4 and admitted to the hospital three days later after testing positive for the virus. So far, 17 confirmed cases in Vietnam have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
