In a short time, the Organization Board has received more than 100 reviews from candidates about Vietnamese culture and tourism in English and their native languages.

The three best reviews will be awarded on the final night of the Miss Tourism World 2022 contest, themed “Bringing the world to Vietnam”, which will take place on December 10 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc.

Earlier on November 21, the beauties explored Bat Trang Pottery Village, dating back to at least the 14th century, on the city’s outskirts.

In addition to the capital city, the contestants visited numerous destinations and heritage sites across Vietnam from November 14 to 26, according to the Organization Board.

During that time, they went to tourist attractions and cultural sites in the northern provinces of Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La, and Vinh Phuc, including UNESCO-recognized Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Special National Historical Relic of Hung Kings Temple, Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site, among others.

A representative of the Organization Board said they hope that with the tour of the heritage regions, the contestants will do many hands-on activities to promote the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Vietnam and Hanoi, in particular, among international friends.

Halong Bay (Ha Long Bay)

Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. For many tourists, this place is like something right out of a movie. The fact is that Halong Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has indeed featured in endless movies. The best way to get to Halong City is by car, minibus or bus from Hanoi which is only 170km away. If budget is not a problem, an hour-long helicopter transfer is also available.
