The Reunification Express connects Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, covering Vietnam’s entire length in 32 to 36 hours. Along the way, the train stops at several culturally and geographically significant destinations, including Ninh Binh with its limestone landscapes and ancient temples, Hue and its former royal citadel, the coastal city of Danang, the seaside resort city of Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet, a famous leisure city.

Passengers can choose from a range of multi-class ticket options to suit their preferences. As of 2025, one-way fares for the entire route start from $30 for a soft seat to $120 for a VIP two-berth sleeper. Tickets can be conveniently booked online through the Vietnam Railways website or popular travel platforms, as well as directly at railway stations.
