Areas around Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake have been fitted with stages, booths and banners ahead of VnExpress Marathon (VM) Hanoi Midnight.

The course of the race will have athletes run past the Sword Lake, then Hanoi Opera House and along streets like Le Thanh Tong, Phan Chu Trinh, Ngo Thi Nham, Pho Hue, Nguyen Du, and Nguyen Dinh Chieu. The course continued at Thong Nhat Park before entering Tran Hung Dao and Ly Thuong Kiet streets.

On average, there will be one checkpoint every two kilometers, with eight medical stops in total.
