The Tank Biathlon will take place at the practice field from August 13 to August 27. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Tank Contingent and other competitors received technical knowledge and spent time learning about the locations and competition rules.

Two groups made up of 21 contingents participated in the event this year. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia are represented by ten teams in Group 1, while teams from Abkhazia, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Iran, Laos, Mali, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan, and South Ossetia are represented by ten teams in Group 2.

This year, Group 1 contingents will compete in the qualifying round, semi-finals (eight teams), and final round in accordance with the organizing board’s rules (four teams). Group 2 only participates in the preliminary round of competition.

Four Vietnamese tank crews will take part in the competition this year. On August 13, the first crew will begin participating.
