Since its launch in 2012, the program has been a collaborative effort between the two newspapers and has grown into an annual tradition, embodying their shared commitment to giving back to the community.
Over the past 13 years, the program has distributed thousands of gifts to welfare families, veterans, and students in need in Quang Tri. It has served as a bridge connecting media organizations, businesses, and individuals, allowing them to express their heartfelt gratitude and support for this land of rich revolutionary history.
This year, the July Charity Program is focused on supporting underprivileged students in the districts of Gio Linh and Trieu Phong. A total of 150 gift packages will be distributed, along with two computers for exceptional students facing challenges, and 200 new shirts for students at Cua Viet Primary School in Gio Linh District.
