Son Doong Cave was discovered British Royal Cave Research Association by in 2009, located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang grotto system in central Quang Binh Province. It was formed from 2 – 5 million years ago with a width of 150m, a height of over 200m, and a length of at least 5km.
