Showcasing Innovative Products from Vietnam at Hanoi Exhibition

The 9th Global Conference for Young Parliamentarians in Vietnam saw the launch of the exhibition "Aspirations of Vietnam" in Hanoi on September 14. This exhibition is one of the significant events in the program of the Conference.

The exhibition showcases 40 organizations and 110 OCOP (One Community One Product) goods, including 29 3-star OCOP goods, 67 4-star goods, and 14 5-star goods.

In his opening remarks, Vu Hai Ha, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Vietnamese National Assembly and Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of Vietnam, stated that the purpose of the exhibition is to serve as a valuable platform for parliamentarians from different countries to exchange experiences in digital transformation and discover flexible adaptation solutions after the global pandemic.

Ha believes that by learning about each other’s roles and positions in the global integration and development process, the delegates can formulate strategies to create an environment that mobilizes resources for development investment, production, and business in their respective countries. They can also continue to improve institutional, environmental, and infrastructure conditions to better support the people and businesses involved in the economic restructuring process.

The “Make in Vietnam” technology products and exemplary OCOP products displayed at the exhibition showcase the local capacity for innovation and creativity imbued with identity and tradition. Furthermore, this exhibition highlights Vietnamese culture and technological achievements in digital transformation to international delegates.

The 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians is taking place from September 14-17 in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking the first time the event is hosted by the Vietnamese parliament. This year’s theme is “The role of young people in accelerating sustainable development goals through digital transformation and innovation.”

Thanks to support from the Party, State, and Government, this event provides an opportunity for Vietnamese youth to strengthen cooperation with important partners, particularly international parliamentarians and young leaders.
