In 2022, the company initiated collaborative research with Istanbul Technical University to develop an affordable, earthquake-resistant buckling-restrained brace. In February 2023, while conducting the joint research, the “Turkey-Syria earthquake” occurred. It has been suggested that the failure to comply with proper construction standards was one of the contributing factors to the extent of the damage caused by the earthquake.

In the aftermath of the earthquake, a new branch was established in Istanbul. This branch was opened to provide an early introduction to the buckling-restrained braces that are currently in development, in addition to our seismic isolation, dampers, and seismic devices.
