Da Nang International Terminal (Terminal T2) has been awarded Gold – the highest level among the three grades: Silk, Jade, and Gold. There are four other airports worldwide that have been certified as “Welcome Chinese,” including Paris International Airport (ADP) in France and King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Established in 2008, China Tourism Academy is a research organization based in Beijing, under the China National Tourism Administration.

To receive this certification, Da Nang International Terminal has met the requirements, such as displaying Chinese language on signs, flight display screens, restaurant menus, maps, and websites. The airport also provides high-quality services, including free hot water and Chinese-speaking staff.

The stores at the terminal accept payment services via UnionPay and WeChat Pay, which are commonly used in China. Additionally, there are tax refund counters to cater to the shopping needs of Chinese tourists.

Earlier this year, Da Nang International Terminal was recognized by international organizations as the first 4-star Skytrax-certified terminal in Vietnam.
