The Congress agreed that in the 2022-2027 term, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Binh Phuoc province will focus on building and socializing resources for people-to-people diplomacy.

The Union will increase the participation of students, young people, and businesses; strengthen the role of affiliated organizations, acting as a focal point to promote cooperation through providing and sharing information on the market, investment, and cooperation between Binh Phuoc enterprises and other countries in the region.

The Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations will also coordinate with sectors in mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid for the period 2022-2027; promote relationships with reputable and potential foreign individuals and non-governmental organizations. They coordinate with sectors and localities to perform well the state management of foreign non-governmental activities, increase aid mobilization and effectively implement projects in the province.

The Union promotes information on foreign affairs and people-to-people diplomacy through activities, forums, and seminars to provide information to friends and partners about the development situation of Binh Phuoc, especially in terms of religion and sovereignty.

They foster friendship exchanges and people-to-people exchanges; coordinate in organizing political and diplomatic events, celebrations on the occasion of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and other countries, cultural festivals, and national days of countries.

The Binh Phuoc Province Union of Friendship Organizations will also perform well its role in people-to-people diplomacy through well-coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations. The Union regularly informs and exchanges with local departments and agencies; report information.

Speaking at the Congress, Tran Tuyet Minh, vice chairman of Binh Phuoc Province Union of Friendship Organizations appreciated the results achieved by the Union in the 2017-2022 term.

She suggested that the Union continue to improve the operational efficiency of the Union of Friendship Organizations in the new situation, and implement people-to-people diplomacy work according to the foreign policy and leadership of the Party.

The Union maintains traditional relations with neighboring countries, strengthens relations, takes advantage of aid resources, and uses them effectively.

In the past 5 years (2017-2022), the Binh Phuoc Province Union of Friendship Organizations regularly mobilized organizations, sponsors and benefactors to support necessities and medical supplies. They visited, and provided medical examination and treatment to localities of Laos and Cambodia in the spirit of support with a total amount of more than VND1 billion (US$42,390).

Regarding foreign non-governmental aid activities, in the period 2017-2022, the province had 76 projects of foreign NGOs to operate in the province with a total disbursement of US$4.5 million.
