The construction of the project commenced on January 6, 2020, to be completed in a total of 14 months.

The project aims to facilitate vehicles in travelling through the intersection conveniently and safely while helping shorten their journeys and optimise Belt Road No.3, Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway and Co Linh Street, contributing to reducing traffic congestion in this area.

Workers were completing the last items of the intersection on the afternoon on January 6, including marking painting and the installation of reflective road markers, concrete median, railing systems, drainage systems, signboards and others.

The intersection is located in the districts of Long Bien and Gia Lam.
