The first dog park spanning a total area of 1,650 square metres located at Yen So Park in Hoang Mai district has become the first of its kind to open in the capital, with the site being free and receiving over 100 dogs per day.
Animal lovers must follow several safety regulations before being permitted to enter the park.
The site around the dog park is enclosed by a wire fence.
Keeping clean is the first requirement for all animal lovers taking their dogs to the park.
Duong says she feels hugely excited to be able to enjoy a large space for pets and prevent risks to other people.
The park is an ideal location to get fresh air whilst exercising.
The dog park is sponsored by United States’ citizen Gabe Hernandez in c-oordination with Think Playgrounds (TPG), a pioneering social enterprise with a mission to promote children’s “Right to play”.
The park costs a total of VND500 million, with construction beginning in June.
Three sets of tables and chairs are situated around the park for both animal lovers and their pets to rest.
