Hanoi opens new VND500 billion road in southeast district
Recently, a brand new road has been opened with a total investment of VND500 billion. This road connects the administrative area of Hoang Mai district to Tam Trinh street. Its main purpose is to alleviate traffic congestion in the southeast region of the capital city.
On February 24, State President Vo Van Thuong participated in the inauguration of the "spring festival in all regions of the country" held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi.
In spite of the rainy weather, numerous markets in Hanoi were bustling with shoppers looking for items to offer during Tet Nguyen Tieu, which is the first full moon of the year. This activity began early in the morning on February 24th.
On February 23rd, the seal opening ceremony was held at Tran Temple in Nam Dinh province. This auspicious event, which took place on the 14th night of the first lunar month, drew in a massive crowd of pilgrims from far and wide.
