Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte had a hectic yet memorable day when he made a return trip to Hanoi for an official visit to Vietnam upon the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

During talks, the two PMs agree to further promote the Vietnam – Netherlands Strategic Partnership framework on climate change adaptation, water management, and sustainable agriculture, while jointly addressing global challenges.
The two PMs also agree to bring into full play the potential for cooperation in high technology, manufacturing semiconductor components, building digital platforms and telecommunications ecosystems, and applying artificial intelligence and information technology. At the same time, they consent to expand cooperation in potential fields such as exploration and exploitation of important minerals.
