According to Le Van Tri, head of the communication department at Hong Ngoc Ha Travel in HCM City, the cheapest vaccine tour package to the US is around VND44.9 million (USD1,956), including a flight, accommodation at a hotel ranking three stars or higher, Covid-19 testing fees before entering the US, visa fees, 31-day tourism insurance, tour guides, and payment for the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.
The tour prices will be adjusted as tourists choose to be given with other kinds of vaccines such as Pfizer and Moderna or if there is demand for additional services.
Tri added demand had been on the rise in recent days, particularly among people who want to come to the US to visit their relatives.
“People who have a visa to the US can take the tour early, while those who still wait for the visa will depart by the end of July or early August at the soonest,” Tri noted.
People who want to go to the US are required to have a quick Covid-19 test 72 hours before their departure time. When returning to Vietnam, they will have to be put under a 21-day quarantine.
Some regional countries have launched tours to the US in which travellers can combine the Covid-19 vaccine after the US provides Covid-19 vaccination service for foreign tourists.
