More than 25 exhibitors from 20 different countries and territories, including Russia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and China, are set to attend the event.
On display will be media advertising technology for radio and television, broadcasting equipment, TV recording technology, and new generation televisions.
Regular participants such as KOCCA, Mainichi Broadcasting System, Inc., Media Quiz International Holdings Ltd, China Huace Film&TV Co., Ltd., Zoland Distribution, and GMA Network Inc will use the occasion to showcase their latest films and television programmes.
Highlights of the Russian content worldwide zone at the exhibition will include booths set up by Roskino, a state-owned organisation that promotes the Russian film industry in international markets and organises Russian film festivals abroad. A total of 18 Russian companies will be showcasing more than 80 movies and animations to international visitors.
The Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre will be hosting a three-day festival, giving local and foreign broadcasters, film producers and distributors, television content and technology creators, and businesses the opportunity to gain insight into TV application systems.
First held in 2013, Telefilm Vietnam aims to provide opportunities for Vietnamese experts to learn about advanced technologies in television programming and film making.
The exhibition is organised annually, although it was disrupted in 2020 and 2021 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It resumed in 2022.
