Huong is set to join other international artists including RedOne, Balquees, AGNEZ MO, Valeriya, Dalia, Arrow Bwoy, BOYS STORY, and Gim to perform “Lasting Legacy”, the official song of COP28.
The singer expressed her excitement at being invited to participate in this meaningful event.
She also hopes that the official song will spread widely, encouraging everyone to pay more attention to and take practical actions on global climate change.
Huong was the runner-up on the second season of Vietnam Idol in 2010. The following year, her debut solo track “Neu Nhu Anh Den” (“If You Come”), a pop song with heartfelt lyrics about love, became a nationwide hit among young people.
In 2021, the 28-year-old singer won the Most Favorite Female Singer award for the second consecutive time at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Awards. She was also featured on a billboard in Times Square, New York as part of an advertisement for the music streaming platform, Spotify.
Throughout this year, several of her hits such as “Mua Thang Sau” (“Rain In June”), “Toi Thuong Ba” (“I Love Dad”), and “Dai Minh Tinh” (“Superstar”) have been among the top trending songs on YouTube Vietnam.
