Miss Eco International 2023 from Vietnam Wins Beauty Pageant
Nguyen Thanh Ha, from Vietnam, was crowned Miss Eco International 2023 at the pageant’s finale in Egypt on Saturday, becoming the first Vietnamese contestant to win the title.
The 19-year-old beauty, hailing from Ben Tre City in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region, was awarded this honor for outshining 64 other candidates from various countries and territories across the globe.
The beauty queen was followed by four runners-up:
Ifunanya Basilia Ikochukwu from Nigeria
Yashna Beeharry from Mauritius
Ratana Sokhavatey from Cambodia
Genesis Guerrero from Ecuador
The Vietnam contestant is a college student and former winner of Miss Vinschool, with a height of 1.7 meters and body measurements of 85-56-90 centimeters. She hails from Ho Chi Minh City.

During the event’s semi-final night, Ha emerged as the winner of the environmental costume category. Her winning design was inspired by Vietnamese traditional water puppetry, securing her a coveted spot in the top 11.
During the final night, Ha exhibited not only her confidence and exceptional beauty in the national costume and evening gown segments, but also demonstrated excellent communication skills through her eloquence and behavior.
During the interview round, Ha delivered a compelling response to the judges’ inquiry regarding the societal and environmental impacts following the COVID-19 pandemic.
