Vietnam Railways is excited to announce two special ‘Spring Train’ trips, offering a unique way to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Train SE1 will depart from Hanoi Station at 10:10 pm on January 28, while train SE4 will leave Saigon Station at 7:30 pm on the same evening.

These trains are not just a means of transport but a cultural experience. Both feature two specially-designed community carriages with exteriors painted in traditional Tet themes, including vibrant flower markets and calligraphy.

Step inside these carriages, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the beauty of peach and apricot blossoms, symbolizing the Tet celebrations of Northern and Southern Vietnam. These carriages are not just for travel but also perfect photo backdrops.

Throughout the journey, passengers will be immersed in a cultural celebration. The community carriages will host a range of activities, ensuring an engaging and entertaining trip.

As the clock strikes midnight, passengers will be treated to a festive countdown party with sweet treats and surprises. There will be a lucky draw, lucky money, cultural exchanges, traditional games, and, of course, special Tet delicacies to indulge in.

One of the trip’s highlights is the mobile art camp, bringing together artists from across Vietnam. Passengers can get their portraits done, try their hand at clay sculpting, or even paint alongside these talented artists, making it a truly creative start to the Lunar New Year.

Adding to the artistic ambiance, an exhibition featuring 40 renowned Vietnamese painters will be held at Hanoi Station, while a painting workshop at Saigon Station on the second day of Tet will further enhance the creative journey.
