Over the course of the past three years, Gong has had the opportunity to extensively explore the southern regions of Vietnam, both through official engagements and personal endeavors, fueled by his passion for photography.

“I would utilize the majority of my spare time to embark on countrywide journeys,” Gong revealed in an interview with Tuoi Tre News.

He actively engages as a member in a Vietnamese forum focused on travel and photography.

“Vietnam is an incredibly diverse and stunning country, and I have been capturing numerous photographs while immersing myself in its rich culture,” he expressed.

Gong admitted, “Prior to my visit to Vietnam, I had limited knowledge about this country.”

“But I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to work and immerse myself in the stunning beauty of this country.

Vietnam is a remarkable destination that boasts an abundance of natural splendor. From the captivating low-lying Mekong Delta in the south to the awe-inspiring mountainous Central Highlands, and the breathtaking layers of terraced rice fields that adorn the northern regions, this country is truly a haven of scenic magnificence.

One aspect of the landscape that particularly captivates me is its northern region.

“The terraced fields during the watering season in May, as well as the harvest time in late autumn, are truly remarkable.”

As a result of my prolonged stay in Vietnam, I have unfortunately gained considerable weight.

The individual in their sixties believes that they may be beyond the prime age for travel. Nevertheless, they maintain the belief that “the desire to explore new destinations” is all one needs to embark on a journey.
