Theworlds50best has just announced the full list of Asia’s 100 best restaurants, including 2 Vietnamese representatives.
It is extremely surprising when both are not luxury restaurants in 5-star hotels. HCMC’s Anan Saigon and Hanoi’s T.U.N.G. Dining came in at No. 38 and No. 98, respectively. It is also the first time since Don’s in Hanoi had made this list at No. 47.
Anan Saigon is led by Chef Peter Cuong Franklin – a Vietnamese-born chef who was well trained in world-renowned culinary schools.

The restaurant serves both traditional Vietnamese menu and mixed-cultural cuisine such as Da Lat pizza, tacos-Vietnamese crepes or Quang noodles, etc.

In addition, the restaurant serves a tasting menu for VND 680,000 (about US$30) with 8 dishes for diners who find an experience. Anan Saigon is an ideal destination to chill on weekends with an open-air rooftop and a creative menu.
Tung Dining is located on Quang Trung Street, a street in the center of the capital, founded by a 28-year-old chef, Hoang Tung.

Although it has only been open for more than 2 years, Tung dining has become a familiar name and very popular with gourmet diners. The products here are highly appreciated not only for taste and appearance but also for high meaning and culinary properties.
