This highly anticipated competition is expected to showcase the talents of 32 artistic groups, spanning across 11 diverse categories and catering to a wide range of age groups, from the youthful vigor of teens to the seasoned experience of adults.
The event itinerary boasts a rich tapestry of cultural exchanges and performances, commencing with an opening ceremony at the Hoi An Theatre. The town’s streets will then echo with the melodies of international choir performances, while artists, locals, and tourists unite in artistic collaborations. The Hoai River, a serene backdrop to this cultural extravaganza, will also play host to captivating art performances.

First held in 2011, this biennial competition is a collaborative effort between Interkultur, a Germany-based organization renowned for their expertise in international choir competitions and festivals, and the Hoi An municipal People’s Committee. The year 2023 marks the eighth iteration of this esteemed event, a testament to its enduring success and cultural significance.
