As stated by the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, the film festival will showcase the latest releases from Japan in recent years, including “Not Quite Dead Yet,” “My Boyfriend in Orange,” and “Wedding High.”

The films explore a variety of topics and genres, providing a vivid portrayal of Japanese life. These screenings aim to enhance the understanding of Japanese culture among Vietnamese people and international audiences.

The screenings will take place at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi, Galaxy Nguyen Kim Cinema in Hai Phong, Metiz Cinema in Da Nang, and Cinestar Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City.

This event is part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, which began in 1973.
