On display are 300 black-and-white and colour photos featuring the struggle for national liberation, construction and defence under the leadership of the CPV over the past nine decades, and the city’s revolutionary tradition during the process.
The exhibition also reflects the city’s socio-economic and cultural achievements over the past more than four decades.
Opening the event, head of the municipal Department of Information and Education Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue highlighted the significance of the birth of the CPV, and the country’s glorious achievements under the CPV’s leadership.
In the morning the same day, a photo exhibition, themed “Spring comes to Ho Chi Minh City”, opened along the Ly Tu Trong – Pasteur street, introducing the city’s Lunar New Year celebrations and social welfare work to the public.
