This event is set to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam. This milestone marks a momentous occasion in the countries’ history, and is sure to be celebrated with great enthusiasm.

This is the first time that Miss SAKE will be held in Vietnam for all single women aged between 18 and 40.
Miss SAKE Vietnam 2023 will be a beauty ambassador who will contribute to further strengthening the friendship, promoting cultural exchanges, and facilitating trade relations between Vietnam and Japan. In addition, she will honor the values of women and empower them to achieve their dreams.
The event will also draw in local experts in fashion, makeup, and catwalk instruction, as well as ordinary citizens.
The pre-qualification round is expected to take place in April and May of 2023, and will include an online selection process.
The selected candidates will perform áo dài or Vietnamese long dress and evening gowns at the art program celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. This special occasion will take place on May 20 at AEON Mall in Long Bien District and will be open to the public. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness the beauty of traditional Vietnamese fashion while honoring the long-standing diplomatic ties between these two countries.

A group of 32 beauty contest winners will be selected to progress to the next round, wherein 16 qualified contestants will proceed to the final round of the competition.
The grand finale is scheduled for May 28th and will feature an array of talented showcases, traditional Japanese kimono performances, and the presentation of the finalists.
Miss SAKE Vietnam 2023 will embark on a journey to Japan in June 2023 to take part in the Miss SAKE International competition. She will have the opportunity to showcase her beauty, grace, and intelligence to the world while representing her country on an international stage.
Each year, the Miss SAKE competition strives to find representatives who embody the spirit of Japanese history and culture. Candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of sake and its production, as well as their passion for promoting the country’s customs and culture. The event celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and has become popular not only in Japan, but in many countries around the world.
