In addition to captivating art performances and engaging folk games, attendees of the event will be granted the opportunity to savor delectable cuisine representing various ethnic minority groups.

With a convenient location just 35 minutes away from Hanoi’s center, the market fair drew an unexpectedly large crowd on its opening day, Friday. Trinh Ngoc Chung, the acting head of the management board of the Culture-Tourism Village for Vietnamese Ethnic Groups, reported a staggering 7,000 visitors in attendance.

“Thu Thuy, a visitor from the northern city of Hai Phong, expressed delight in the exquisite and captivating flavors of every dish. The vast, airy ambiance of the dining area further enhances the experience, making it a delightful day-long affair to savor each culinary masterpiece.”

Manh Cuong, an office worker in Hanoi, expressed his joy in bringing his family to the village and enjoying the market fair, similar to Thuy.

“Cuong expressed that participating in the fair not only strengthens our family bonds but also provides our children with the opportunity to learn about different ethnic cultures that they may typically only encounter through TV or the internet. Despite the associated costs, the experience is invaluable.”

According to the Vietnam News Agency, cultural and tourism activities are being organized daily and on weekends in the village to promote the culture of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups.

Our organization plays a pivotal role in fostering interethnic interactions and driving tourist footfall to the village.
