The final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 was organized at Phu Tho Indoor Sport Center in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday evening with the participation of 50 beauties.

The judging panel included former beauty queen Ha Kieu Anh, film director Hoang Nhat Nam, supermodel Minh Tu, actor Minh Tiep, and designer Do Long, among others.

The event also saw the attendance of Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International, and Teresa Chaivisut, vice-president of Miss Grand International.

The competition night started at 7:30 pm and lasted for nearly five hours, including a 45-minute section during which the organizing board introduced sponsors and judges.

The contestants went through several rounds, including swimsuit, evening gown, ao dai, presentation, and Q&A for the selection of the top 20, top 15, top 10, and top five.

Doan Thien An, a 22-year-old beauty from southern Long An Province, was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 in the end.

The title of the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up respectively went to Che Nguyen Quynh Chau from the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, Tran Tuyet Nhu from Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Nguyen Minh Thu from north-central Quang Tri Province, and Ngo Thi Quynh Mai from Ho Chi Minh City.

Doan Thien An will represent Vietnam to compete at the Miss Grand International 2022, scheduled to be held on October 25 in Indonesia.

The winner, runners-up, and organizing board of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 were scheduled to visit and present gifts to residents affected by Typhoon Noru in central Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Nghe An Provinces on Sunday.

The support is worth a total of nearly VND1.8 billion (US$75,400), contributed by multiple organizations and individuals.
