The inaugural event will showcase the theme “Thu Hà Nội – Đến để yêu” (Come to fall in love) and aims to celebrate the rich heritage, cultural values, and tourism offerings of the capital, as well as to attract more tourists.

Various activities will be organized throughout the festival, including a lion dance performance in Thanh Oai district, a kite festival in Dong Anh district, a mid-autumn lantern parade in Son Tay town, flower arrangements in Me Linh district, a puppetry performance in My Duc district, and a lotus tea making festival in Tay Ho district.

In addition to showcasing tourism products, the festival will also feature a display of typical handicrafts and souvenirs from the capital, with 150 booths located along Dinh Tien Hoang street and the surrounding areas of Hoan Kiem (Returned Sword) Lake.

A conference on the development of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) and golf tourism, a re-enactment of weddings from the past, a photo exhibition showcasing Hanoi in autumn, and an Ao Dai (traditional long dress) show will also be part of the festival program.

The highlight of the festival will be a grand carnival taking place on October 1st, with the participation of thousands of people, in a pedestrian zone set up around Hoan Kiem Lake.
