The event is scheduled to take place between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on the night of February 9, just before a stunning fireworks show that will be held at 32 locations throughout Hanoi. The event will be broadcast live on various media platforms.

According to Truong Viet Dung, an official from the Hanoi administration, either West Lake or My Dinh National Stadium will be chosen as the venue for a drone performance with 2,204 drones. This was announced at a press conference on January 19.

To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 32 sites, with nine of them featuring high-range shows.

The fireworks display will last for 15 minutes, starting at midnight on February 10.

On lunar New Year’s Eve, thousands of people, mostly young individuals, gather at entertainment centers in Hanoi to witness the captivating fireworks display and welcome in the New Year. This year, February 9 marks the end of the 12th lunar month.
