The Belgian singer will participate in the Hue International Music Week 2023, which will be held from December 8 to 12 at Ngo Mon Gate (Noon Gate) in the ancient capital of Hue, as announced by the organizers of the Hue Festival 2023.
The Hue International Music Week is part of the Hue Festival 2023, aiming to establish itself as a new contemporary music festival in Thua Thien-Hue and promote local tourism.
Together with popular Vietnamese singers and bands, the event will feature renowned international artists such as French electro-pop singer and songwriter Malik Djoudi, and Korean jazz singer Young Joo Song.
Following the Hue International Music Week, Rori, a Belgian singer and songwriter, will travel to Hanoi for a special performance at the Youth Theatre on December 14.
Rori initially gained recognition as part of the duo Beffroi, with their debut single “Swim” receiving widespread acclaim on local radio stations including StuBru and Pure FM.
As a member of Beffroi, Rori performed at various prominent venues and festivals, including Ancienne Belgique, le Botanique, Les Ardentes, and Dour.
In 2018, Rori embarked on her solo project and made her solo debut in 2020 with her first single “Gonna Get Mine”, followed by the release of her second single “Truth Hurts”.
Rori stands out as one of the most promising emerging pop talents, combining unique vocals with infectious melodies.
