The programme, themed “Sparkling full moon”, will introduce the most beautiful features of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.

A wide variety of traditional lanterns which have been popular since the early 20th century, such as carp, crab and jade rabbit-shaped lanterns, will be on display.

Traditional trays of various fruits and animal-shaped cakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival, which were arranged by artisans Pham Thi Nguyet Anh and Dang Van Hau, will also be displayed.

Children who participate in the programme will have the chance to make moon cakes and traditional toys, such as paper lanterns and star lanterns, as well as painting folk paper masks, joining attractive traditional games and enjoying lion dances.
