This is one of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 190th founding anniversary of the northern border province of Lang Son (November 4, 1831 – November 4, 2021), and also an activity to respond to the domestic tourism stimulus programme launched by the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme “Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam”.
The event aims to promote and introduce the image of Lang Son – a safe, friendly, attractive and quality destination.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Travel Department Nguyen Quy Phuong affirmed that the restoration of domestic and intra-provincial tourism activities in Lang Son and other localities is a premise in the pilot roadmap of welcoming international visitors into Vietnam in three phases.
According to Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son city Nguyen Van Hanh said that Lang Son city has injected 95% of two doses of vaccines for people aged 18 years and over and is about to deploy vaccinations for people aged 12 to 17 years old.
Lang Son Tourism – Cuisine Festival 2021 has the participation of 15 units which are departments, agencies, hotels, travel agencies, enterprises of Lang Son province with 20 booths introducing tourism products and specialties, typical cuisine, local agricultural products, including many products that meet OCOP standards such as roasted duck, roasted pig, Mau Son wine, cinnamon anise.
Lang Son Tourism – Cuisine Festival 2021 is also an activity within the framework of Famtrip – Caravan and Trekking programme organised by Fivestar Travel and Trong Tin Co., Ltd. held from November 5 to 7, 2021, in order to strengthen the promotion and connection between travel businesses and tourism services of Hanoi and Lang Son.
