The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024 will feature an art program, The Essence of Ao Dai, celebrating the Vietnamese traditional long dress in three captivating chapters: Golden History, Interference Bridge, and Spreading Journey. This festival, a highlight of Hanoi’s cultural calendar, will showcase the beauty and significance of the ao dai over a three-day event at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

Onstage performances will poetically depict the capital’s 70-year liberation journey, from 1954 to 2024, using the graceful ao dai as a powerful metaphor. The festival, taking place from October 4-6, with the main stage at Doan Mon Square, promises to be a spectacular celebration of Vietnamese culture and heritage.
