Bilateral cooperation is thriving across all sectors, notably in the strategic areas of climate and the environment. This is evidenced by significant collaborative frameworks, including the strategic partnership in climate change, energy, the environment, and green growth (2011), the comprehensive partnership (2013), and the green strategic partnership (2023).

The Vietnamese diplomat further suggested that the Danish Parliament and Government continue to foster an enabling environment for the Vietnamese community in Denmark to act as a vital bridge in fostering bilateralsection with the host country’s parliament and government, emphasizing the importance of the Vietnamese community in strengthening bilateral ties. He conveyed an invitation from National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to the Danish Parliament Speaker to visit Vietnam, which was gladly accepted.

On the same day, Ha met with Denmark’s Minister for Climate, Energy, and Utilities, Lars Aagaard. The minister reaffirmed Denmark’s commitment to supporting Vietnam by sharing expertise and advanced technology to facilitate its green transition and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Ha acknowledged Denmark’s pioneering role in environmental protection, green energy, and climate change as a model for Vietnam’s aspirations. He urged continued support in priority areas such as environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and the development of green energy.
